I’ve really enjoyed visiting your site and looking at your illustrations. I love your style–your lines are so clean and everything is good to look at. There’s something really special about it–simple and elegant and rich. The upholstery fabric is really cool! I know Painter accomodates texture samples but I don’t know much about Illustrator except that I should know more about it!

How smart! It’s really something else but your style is really in it.
I am not experienced enough with Illustrator, but you can find a lot of tutorials if you Google your question I guess…perhaps that will help also.

I really like this style, so much texture! I think you can create a repeat in Photoshop, with a plug-in. It would be easier in a raster program, a vector program like Illustrator would be really time consuming to create a pattern fill of a woven, but it’s worth a try if you’re creating a library!
